Malware for ransomware has become a big seller on the dark-web. The software provider takes 30% of the ransom and the distributor gets 70% of your money. They get paid by the victim by bitcoins which cannot be traced. We have heard from lawyers and insurance brokers who have been infected by opening email attachments.
